Saturday was horrible. I was mentally drained. I went to work as usual but otw, there was a call. It was a person from Tp calling regarding the jpsae i applied fpr. Good news? Well.. Next she told me if i were to come in through jpsae, i have to be committed to dance for the next 3 years. Well, understandable. So i told her i can. After that she told me i would have to come down for an Audition on Monday, 1:30pm. I have to put up a 2 minutes dance item for the people there in the dance studio. SOLO performance. I started to panic cause never in my whole life, i dance on my own. And for me to come up with a 2 mins dance? I can't. I mumbled something like i would call her back. After i hang up, i called my friends up. I was so scared. It was too sudden and What? Me?
Yes, i came from YTSS Chinese Dance but I haven't dance for ages. And.... I am no choreographer. If i were to have a dance item, i would go. I freaked out in the storeroom and didn't know what to do. I was damn stress up. Me? Put up the BEST performance? In front of MANY people? SOLO performance? COMMITMENTS? TIME FROM 1:30PM TO 12 NOON? But finally after all that, i told myself i can try to come up with a dance. A friend i met at work, Angelina even offered to accompany me to Tp on Monday. So sweet of her right :)Gekhwee was nice enough to meet me after my work. She haven't danced for ages too. She tried, I tried. At the end of the day, we only came up with 10seconds of the whole dance. There wasn't enough time. She has work on Sunday and that leave me with myself. Alone. There wasn't enough time. I tried my best. Yes, it was supposed to be a good opportunity. But i can't. I just can't. It would have been great if they were to teach me some dance steps and than i were to showcase to them. Why of all things, i must come up with a Dance. I'm a dancer and not a Choreographer.
